Does anyone know of any good Tarot spreads I could use for New Year's predictions?

Hmmm, for New Years? You can use a lot of spreads for that, just repurpose them. I prefer shorter spreads to longer ones because the more minute the details, the more nerve wracking it becomes for me! A good spread I can think up that's nice and quick is the same spread I use for birthday's actually (since those are annually as well):

Shuffle your deck as many times as you usually do, then deal a pile of cards face down that correlates to the month. Since this is January, just put down one card face down. Then put down another card beside it to the right facedown. That's how many days (added up if it were a double digit (Day 26 = 2+6) but that's not needed for a new years reading) counted for that spread. It's gonna be 2010 so put down a pile of three cards (2+0+1+0=3), that's the year. In whole it's supposed to look like this

M---D---Y
(1)-(1)-(3)

If there were more than one card on the pile, such as with Year, you only flip the top one over and ignore the rest. So flip over Month, Day and the top card of Year. What you see is what you'll get for the year of 2010.

Anyone else knows any good spreads for the New Years?
